Purpose:
- Sanction shows from breeder organizations, pet retailers, and fanciers.
- Use rules of critiquing where dogs are judged against the standard, not against other dogs, to identify champion conformation of breeding animals.
- Promote showing as a sport for the family to enjoy together.
- Encourage groups like 4H and FFA to participate.
- Have events for animals that have been spayed/neutered.
- Do not give preference for ear cropping or tail docking.
- Work for positive press, improved public relations, and promote a healthier image of the pet industry and professional pet breeders.
Dog Shows:
- In addition to United All Breed Sanctioned Shows we also currently accept titles received from AKC, UKC, most breed specific clubs, and international shows.
- UABR requires all animals competing be micro chipped and reserves the option to collect a DNA sample on all animals exhibiting or holding a champion title.
- All champions must have a favorable veterinarian health examination of the eyes, heart, patellas, hips, bite, and be hernia free before title is issued.
